Goldsworthy

Went to the Gauguin exhibition today, but it was after while I was looking through some of the books at the Tate that I realized I had forgotten about Andy Goldsworthy. These were brilliant, all covered with leaves!

I found this exhibition of creativeeveryone.com, but slightly suprised to find it in a hairdresser with people getting there hair cut. but still, I guess it was appropriate. Brilliant, if not slightly obsessive.

Camouflage Poster

This was done aaaggges ago, but came across it in an old D&AD Annual. SUCH a good idea.

End of the line

I took the last tube the other day and noticed loads of screwed up, folded, disregarded newspapers that littered the underground.
Thought I'd do some drawings of them, they looked quite sad. Mabey next time I'll do some more.

London's Victoria Typography

The style of each individual letter was inspired by the particular story it was telling in London's Victoria. Work by Hat-Trick Design.

Portfolio Extract

Had to cut down the number of slides in my portfolio for the Kingston submission today. Thought these shouldn't go to complete waste.

Fletcher Quote

From 'The Art of Looking Sideways'. Brilliant truth.

Damián Orteg at the Barbican

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant exhibition. Damián Orteg has taken a selection of articles from the Independent newspaper as produced works based on current issues. They move from the witty and playful to the more poignant issues. Loved the way he gave a copy of the article to read next to the work. Brilliant brilliant.

snow here

The snow has arrived. Found myself liking it alot less this year since a couple of near misses falling over. Found these on the way to work this morning, a reminder of what the ground looked like a few days ago. Love the footprints on the first image.
