Some brilliant ideas

The first, an idea sparked by a trip to Caribbean island of Curacao, where Bottles lay littered everywhere,
yet no one had the materials to build houses. The idea was simply to make bottles reusable.


Again, another simple but brilliant idea. A filetype that no matter what, can't be printed! Thus, never running the risk of damaging the planet.

A brilliant collaborative project called, Walking Men.
The public are asked to send in photos of walking men.

Magpie

I went to see Magpie talk at the Typographic Circle last week. Never heard of them, but absolutly LOVED their work.
Such good fun, and looked like they loved what they do and had so much fun!

D&ad / RCA

As the d&ad and RCA shows coincided, and having left in an overwhelming sweat from the opening of them both, I thought I'd try and go early and miss the crowds and have a good nose round them both. With a bit a curry and beer thrown in midway!

What we found difficult was seeing how far removed the RCA communication art & design was to any of the BA's. But the interactive design at the RCA was amazing! Some brilliant ideas that really looked at the interaction between humans and technology
